Disappointed
This bag is absolutely tiny. It has no room for anything. The description and 1st review lead me to believe that it has ample room. The segmented main compartment makes no sense. If you use it might be able to squeeze a battery charger on one side and a couple of digital tapes on the other. Don't waste your money. All this bag might offer you is a handle for your camera.

Holds Everything but the Kitchen sink
This bag is great, its rugged and it holds my camcorder and camera at once. A word of caution though be sure to check out the dimensions of the camera you are going to put in it. Just to make sure you have a good fit. This bag is better for light use family gatherings and stuff like that. If you are more adventurous
and like to take your camera on hiking and mountain climbing trips this bag may not be for you. It is durable but it will have minimal protection from the elements. Lowepro always make great quality products and even offer warranties on some of them. Hope I was helpful

Lowepro Nova Mini-Bag....Perfect!
I wanted a camera bag that wasn't too big but would carry my camera and maybe another item.....a wallet, another quick-shot camera, cell phone or some camera accessories. This holds my Sony DSC-S75 digi-cam perfectly with room for my cell phone or my other small camera. Has nice pockets and is well padded to protect your camera. Well made and a good price.

GO LOWEPRO! GO!
Lowepro does it again. Being a former photo-journalist for the magazine "Ebony," I always had to be on the run with my camera, and had to be ready. Lowepro has always been a reliable, affordable, attractive producer of bags, and the Nova Mini is no exception. If you only have a small camera with little film, get it! I'm telling you, especially when you don't want to be lugging around a camera bag the size of a suitcase (trust me, taking a plane and arguing with the flight attendant if your bag is too big or not to have to put into storage is a hassle and a half!). Lowepro...a name you can trust!

Why not suggest Lowepro's Digital Camera Case line?
As with all Lowepro Cases they are rugged and almost indistructable. Some of the best thought out cases on the market. But in this case why not suggest that shoppers look and the line that Lowepro actually has created for Digital Cameras. They have a series of about a half dozen cases specially designed to be used with digital cameras. The Nova Mini is a great bag but the D-Res-50 is better, having soft insides so that your LCD display will not get scratched from the inside material, they have little velcro deviders to that you can adjust the bag to fit the size of your camera and even little pockets inside that are designed to accomodate digital camera accessories like extra memory cards and extra batteries. They even have a hidden rain jacket to protect your electronic equipment from the Elements. The hard ware on the D-Res cases are made of metal instead of plastic makeing them not just practical but designed to last through the ages. And like all Lowepro cases it carries a lifetime warranty. The D-Res 50 is the middle bag that Lowepro makes for digital cameras they have one that's half the thickness that will work with most digital cameras also and two smaller than that if you really want a compact case for your little digital camera. I don't think that the Nova Mini is a bad bag quite the contrary, it's great and cheaper than the D-Res series but I do feel it lacks some of the greatest parts of the D-Res series and thus why I would rather see you suggesting the D-Res series of bags for digital customer.

Good fit for Olympus 3040 with accessories
This bag is a very good fit for an Olympus 3040 digital camera set including the 1.4x teleextender and the 0.8 xwide conversion lenses. It fits well the FL-40 falsh with the necessary bracket and extra batteries, cleaning kit and the Olympus smart media card holder.

Great Travel Bag
This is a great little bag for traveling. I use it with a Fuji 4900Z SLR like digital camera and it works great! Lots of padding to keep things safe. Plenty of zippered pockets to carry everything I need to take pictures for a day on the road. I can carry the camera, extra batteries, extra SmartMedia, as well as all of the cables, instructions for the camera and even the battery recharger and still have extra room to spare! Great Pack!
When I found this pack I was looking for something that would conveniently store my SLR camera and its associated lenses, filters, film, etc. I am so glad that I spent the extra dough for something more than just a storage system. This is a very solid pack. I love to take my camera skiing and I have tested this pack with some pretty brutal falls. Of course, I don't recomend taking your camera through extreme conditions because I think eventually your gear will hate you! But, this pack has done a great job of protecting my camera and has allowed me to take it new places. Helping it exeed expectations is the overall "fit" of the pack---it fits close to the body and is very secure. I highly recomend it--------

great fit, organization, capacity and looks
This is a nice, snazzy bag, which I use on a bicycle in my city photography excursions. It is very easy to open, snatch out the camera and take your killing shot. I usually carry 2 Nikon bodies, one with 500mm telephoto lens (fits nicely in the cross section of the bag), a whole bunch of filters, 10-15 rolls of film, a flashlight :-), a small tripod with a mount, and a small book (to read if I am bored). Straps are extremely comfortable for extended wear on both a bike and hiking.

Additionally, it does not really look like a big pro-photobag, so it will not attract much unwanted attention by a criminal element, if you considering taking it to the 3rd World.

Fits a camcorder, an SLR, and accessories
Here is what I was able to fit into this backpack:
- Canon GL-1 (larger than most MiniDV digital camcorders)
- GL-1 accessories (charger, cables, remote control, a few blank tapes, 2 batteries)
- Minolta 7xi SLR with 2 lenses (a 28-80 and a 75-300)
- Minolta 5400HS flash (pretty big)
- a bunch of film
- a mini-tripod (one of those table-top things)
I had to reconfigure the inserts significantly, but with a little trial-and-error everything fit in very nicely.
I have not taken this backpack on a trip yet, but it seems fairly comfortable and very well made.
You can also attach a tripod to the outside. This thing is very roomy!

A good choice
I looked at literally dozens of possible bags and finally settled on this one because of a special need. I don't have a lot of camera equipment but what I do have is somewhat unusual. I needed a bag to carry a recently acquired Fuji GSW690 III medium-format camera, along with my Rollei QZ35W rangefinder, and a few miscellaneous extras, such as a Pentax spotmeter for the Fuji, extra 35 mm and 120 mm film, my little Fuji Tiara APS point and shoot camera, extra batteries, and so on. This is every piece of camera equipment that I own, but it fits nicely inside this small backpack-style bag.

The Fuji is a fairly large camera, although it isn't that heavy, since it's mostly polycarbamate plastic. But it's all-manual--it doesn't even have an internal light meter--hence the need for a spotmeter. This odd assemblage makes for an awkward arrangement in most camera bags, but the backpack format works great. After rearranging the internal dividers I had something that fit perfectly and wasn't that bulky. The only complaint I have is that the backstraps aren't detachable, but this isn't a big deal. All-in all an excellent choice for someone who needs to do some customizing on the bag interior to suit a special need. ... Read more

Nova 1 Green Camera Bag
Excellent, rugged small bag - good for one SLR camera w/ lens, even a pretty long one or zoom (mine is a 300 mm zoom, but compact format.) Holds some film rolls and a flash, too.
