Great Buy for the Beginner
We just purchased this telescope, and I must say that I am very pleased with the telescope, being that I am a beginner. The power of the telescope is much better than the one my husband got me for Christmas (Meade). So far, we have seen Saturn and its rings, Jupiter, and some clusters. We are very satisfied with the quality of the images. Easy to use. Lots of fun. Great for a beginner. Comes with three eyepieces, barlow lens, Software for computer.

Avoid all Tasco small refractors!
Tasco small refractors are the epitome of the "junk department store telescope". As any "How to Choose a telescope" book, website, etc., will tell you, the biggest clue that a scope is junk is that it's advertised on the basis of "power". For example, this 'scope is called "675 power" - but 60mm refractors are worthless at any power over ~120x! The image just gets extremely dim and muddy. If you're considering buying this 'scope, consider researching the issue a bit more! Binoculars , or a somewhat more expensive scope by Meade or Celestron would be a far wiser investment. ... Cute!
Won't look at craters on the moon, just a nifty, tiny, one eyed version of opera glasses! Really light and small, just the thing to carry anywhere, for a quick close look when needed!

Not that great!
Okay I recently got one for myself and wasn't to impressed by it's performance. I mainly used it for just recreational use(birds, houses, cars, etc..) it was okay but there are many better ones to buy. Good but not great
I've had my binoculars for 5 days now, and I'm not all that impressed with them. Don't expect to be able to see anything when using more than about 25x magnification. I'm using my binoculars with a tripod, which is a MUST, but that doesn't help at all when the quality of the lenses don't seem to allow for focusing in the 25x or higher range. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any other binoculars out there with high magnification at a bareable price. If you can manage with the clear 16x-25x range, then they will probably be ok for you.

High Priced, but a great investment.
I've just pulled them out of the box, and they are incredibly powerfull. You have to get used to the way the zoom works, due to the fact that you can not easily proper focus the image. As soon as you do it, the image is impressive. The tripod adapter comes handy especially when you use them with full zoom. The binoculars are not heavy and you can manipulate them easily. Tasco Cool F/X Porro Binocular
In the pass three months, I brought four binoculars ( Bushnell 16 X 32 Folding Roof Prism Powerview Compact Binoculars, Bushnell 7 - 15 X 25 Powerview Compact Zoom Binoculars, Bushnell 10X25 Powerview Binoculars, and Tasco Cool F/X 8x21).
Comparing the above, the Tasco Cool F/X 8x21 has the best sharpness and precision. Due to it being very lightweight, it does not cause your hand to shake, and thus the image is more stable. Because of it's unique design, you can hold and focus with one hand. that! I think is a plus. I have already placed on order for another. It's a great buy.

The tasco brand is a basic binocular that is a lot of bang for the buck. The zoom power allows you to see objects considerably well compared to the standard 10 power. These are really a very powerful pair for the money. I have owned a pair of these nocs for a year and love them. The optics are clear and easy to adjust for moving targets, i.e., football, baseball, hockey games and hunting too. Mine have never fogged up, even in sub zero wind chills while hunting white tail deer. I recommend them for anyone interested in a good glass looking for a great value.
