Convenience & Quality!
Having a teenager who eats up AA batteries constantly, the Kodak Rapid Charger solves this problem easily. Recharges batteries in 3 hours which is much quicker than overnight. Some charges can take up to 12 hours. This charger is made for digital cameras and elctronics that drain batteries quickly. You can rechage AA or AAA batteries. An added bounus is that this particular unit comes with 4 AA rechargeable batteries. A Great solution at a great price from a well-known name like Kodak. What more could you ask.

Pretty happy with it
I must be a battery charger junkie. I bought my first NiCd battery charger when they first came out, and I still remember how big and awesome-looking it was. And it charged two AA NiCd batteries in, oh, 24 hours. Then the batteries would run down after about 5 hours in my Walkman. Those were the good old days.

Anyway, nowadays I must have more than half a dozen battery chargers. What I like about the Kodak Rapid Charger is it does a very reliable job of charging four NiMH batteries in a few hours. The exact charge time depends on (i) AA or AAA, (ii) how many batteries, (iii) how much charge is left in the batteries, (iv) the total capacity of the batteries (e.g., 1600 vs. 2400),(v) room temperature, and (vi) random factors that even the electrical engineers don't have a clue about. Suffice it to say that a fresh set of 4 AA batteries will charge in about 3 hours, give or take half an hour. Much better than the overnight chargers.

Also, compared to my Radio Shack stock rapid charger, the Kodak can charge any number of batteries, up to four, whereas the Radio Shack must do four. The Kodak also seems to trickle charge better, because on the same set of batteries, I seem to get longer life out of a charge down on the Kodak than on the Radio Shack. My other chargers are Ravoyac which I like the most, but the Kodak is also a good, and it cost less than a comparable Rayovac I was looking at.

Anyway, this is a solid battery charger for AA and AAA batteries.

Only lasted a few months
This worked fine at first but after a few months, the charger could not hold the AAA batteries in place. The spring mechanisms failed for 3 out of the 4 positions that would hold the AAA batteries. Thus, I could no longer charge the AAA batteries. Then after a while, the charger just quit working all together.

Nice, but have some issues....
I bought this a couple of months ago and so far it has worked fine. I like having rechargeable batteries because they're cost effective and help to save the environment.

My only problem is finding more batteries! I bought these batteries originally for my digital camera and so I'm always using two batteries at a time. Thus, there is no way I can use the batteries for anything else. AND, 90% of the time the charger sits in a drawer unused because I don't have batteries for it to charge. So while I like these batteries, I just wish I could get more of these batteries to use around the house.

Right up there in the Editorial review, it says "Each of the four Kodak Max AA NiMH rechargeable batteries offers a 1,850 mAh capacity rating..."

This device comes with 4 Kodak batteries - so it seemed to me that it was implying that this came with 4 Kodak Max AA NiMH rechargable batteries that were 1,850 mAh...

But no. It comes with 4 1600 mAh batteries.

Not a huge deal, but it is particularly annoying for me since I was going to buy something else and then switched to this specifically because of what that said.

Best glossy I've used for HP 900 series.
I've tried numerous papers on my aging HP 970 CXi and HP 930C printers, and for glossy prints Kodak Ultima is by far the best. The paper is thick, heavy, and relatively durable. Even heavy black areas dry quickly. Greyscale looks like greyscale, not like sepia as it does on many other papers. Colors are vibrant with sharp edges, and true to the original, especially when the saturation is boosted one notch in the print driver. I have not been able to test the paper on other printers, but if it's anything like this you won't be dissapointed.

Great Photo Paper
I have had excellent results with this paper. The photos come out perfect and professional. Even the feel of the paper is better than any other ones I have used.

Extremely Great Paper
This is very high quality paper. Pictures look just like you had a photo lab develop them. This paper is not as glossy as the Canon Photo Pro, so if you want the glossiest paper buy the Canon Photo Pro. If you like your prints glossy yet not to the extreme this is the paper for you.

Disappointing photo quality paper.
I use an Epson Photo 780 and I take my photographs seriously, so Kodak was my first choice and I expected the best quality from them. Although I own an EOS D30 digital camera, I still prefer to use Kodachrome in my EOS 5 and prefer Kodak paper for my analog prints.

I was both surprised and disappointed to find I got better results from the Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper and the Jet Print Professional Photo Paper, Superior Glossy Finish (International Paper). The color looks good on the Kodak paper and I love the thickness of this stock, but the finish is not as smooth and photo-finish like as the other two papers. The images on this paper look like they were computer printed with inkjet; a slight embossed appearance, when viewed from the edge. With the other two papers, the photos have a perfectly smooth surface and feel like they were analog photo printed. Generally Satisfied
Projector arrived on time and in excellent condition. This model does not have an automatic/remote focusing feature, which means the operator must adjust focus manually at projector. There is, however, a corded remote slide advancer. Apart from these model shortcomigs, this projector is easy-to-use and reliable, just as we have come to expect Kodak carousels to be.

Bad Customer Service
Don't be mis-led by "Usually Ships In 24 Hours". I ordered this unit by credit card. Took them 6 days to process the order. Then took another 4 days in transit. When I received the unit it was missing the focusing lens rendering it totally useless. Now I have to return it, 4 days transit, wait until they process the return, 6 to 10 days, then another 4 days transit. Hopefully, the replacement will have all the parts to it. Worth the extra money
These batteries are green in color, not red as shown. They are made by Sanyo in Japan & are of excellent quality. They last really long. Get only the Kodak Charger & NOT other brand, i had the bad experience in mixing battery & charger from diff brands.

Now, i got more of these & use them in toys, kitchen electrics etc. etc. Got some Kodak AAA as well & each charge lasts 3 months or so in my wireless mouse.

Being able to recharge is vital especially at the very high cost basis.

Shopping here does have a great benefit in cost comparison as well reviews. Thats why I think, we all look in here and shop.

The NiMH batteries do not have a memory so that is another advantage. NiCAD's do.

Kodak I think does charge a premium for its name and private lable on the products. But what do people expect? Getting a quality package of a product but paying for less...

Why so much $$$?
I love Kodak, and was saddened by the recent financial trouble the company has recently been going through. I hope they survive. But I can't help but wonder why so much for batteries that the popular brand-name competitors charge half the price that Kodak charges for theirs? These have the same power rating and quality as Kodak's.

A great battery for high drain devices!
I've used Kodak's 1850mAh NiMH batteries for about a year in my Olympus C-4000, and they're fantastic. I can get hundreds of (daylight) shots, or several weeks of intermittent use, before needing to recharge. With its higher capacity, the 2100mAh battery should be even better.

These high capacity NiMH batteries work great in frequent use/high drain devices, such as cameras, flashlights, PDA's, CD players, toys, etc. Unlike NiCads, they don't contain the toxic heavy metal cadmium. They aren't subject to any significant "memory effect," so they don't need to be discharged fully before recharging. They will outperform both NiCads and throwaway alkaline batteries in high drain devices, and can be recharged more than 500 times. Their only disadvantage is that they self-discharge over time, losing 1-2% of their capacity per day. Alkaline batteries are still the best bet for low drain devices such as clocks and remote controls.

With the appropriate adapters, such as those sold by Star Batteries, you can even use your NiMH AA's in your C and D cell flashlights!

For best results, charge these in a charger designed for NiMH batteries. For longest battery life use a smart charger that protects against both overcharging and overheating, and signals when charging is complete. ... Read more

Excellent prints with Canon i560s printer
Using my Canon i560s printer, Kodak's recommended printer driver settings, and Kodak's free software for printing, this paper produces near flawless photos. They are semi-gloss (not high-gloss like Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy that comes with the printer). This paper has been reformulated recently (according to the packaging) and I will continue to use it for all photos. I have been unable to get Canon's software to print accurate colors on this paper - so use Kodak's! Canon's software (Easy Photo Print) won't print accurate colors even on their own Photo Paper Plus Glossy paper (and there is no way to manually tinker with the color settings in Easy Photo Print - you can in the Kodak software via the Canon print driver). If you run a comparison, you will see that Kodak has got the color thing nailed cold and Canon does not, regardless of paper type.

The only detectable flaw I've seen in any print on Kodak's Premium Picture Paper is on photos with very dark/black areas. If you hold the print at a sharp angle in bright light (you never would unless looking for this flaw) you can see a slight decrease in the reflectivness of these really dark areas that you don't see using the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy paper.

Nobody who has looked at my prints (except me) has noticed this flaw - so don't worry about it. By the way, I much prefer the semi-glossy nature of this paper to Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy which truly is so glossy it can be annoying in some lighting conditions.

The Canon i560s uses dye-based ink for printing photos. I think pigment-based ink will have different results (Canon mixes the 3 dye-based colors to produce black when printing photos, as the black cartridge is pigment based in this printer).

Hits the mark!
This paper does what it is intended to do. It provides an affordable, quality option for printing snap shots. Would I use it to reproduce images to present in a gallery? No. But for images that require the highest quality prints I upload and print at a professional digital lab. However for printing snap shots to be sent to relatives and for my wife to use for scrapbooking this paper has proven to be the best. I have tried several papers on my Canon S520 printer, including canon's own line. I like this Kodak paper the best. With this paper I always get a reliable reproduction of my images. I would caution that it is important to follow Kodak's advandced settings recommendations to get the best prints. These are available in the package and at Kodak's web site. Kodak also offers free software to assist with the printing that will optimize the printer settings for the paper automatically. My wife (who is not computer savy) has found this program to be helpful in printing photos. I have found it helpful in that I no longer am needed to assist her every time she wants to print.

Too much red on photos printed from HP PSC 2210
I used it on my HP PSC 2210 multifunction machine with 6-ink photo printing. The photos come out with too much red. The HP premium photo paper, on the other hand, produced photos that look exactly like the once developed in the local 1-hour photo lab. In short, avoid the Kodak premium photo paper if you have HP printers.

deceptive editor review
The editor says that one can be seated while using the remote. While this is true, the reviewer doesn't note the fact that the remote has to be attached to the slide projector itself. I was expecting a little more sophisication, such as when one uses a remote to change channels on a television.

Also, the projector does not come with a lens, nor is there a cover for the projector itself. If one considers buying this product, keep in mind that one will have to get various accessories, such as a lens, and a decent covering case, and perhaps a more sophisicated remote -- one that is not necessarily attached to the projector. ... wrong illustration
The battery you are showing is not the correct battery. That is not what the Lithium CRV3 3V looks like! Very confusing. I'm afraid to order thinking I'll get what the picture shows.

Great lifespan, convenient, and good economy
My mom loves these batteries.I've tried to get her to use rechargables, and she's also tried a variety of alkaline batteries.However, she insists these are vastly more convenient than rechargeables and last so much longer than alkalines that she only needs to pack one spare, on long trips.

Kodak MAX CRV3
I had this battery for over a year and thought it was rechargable. It wasn't and I used it in my docking station anyways, and it just now died.It has lasted over a year.and i paid alot more for another brand that I doubt will last as long.I will buy this again.
