Good camera, but I've seen better.
We bought this camera for work. It takes very nice pictures - it's got great optics. It does eat batteries much faster other cameras though. Now I know what you may be thinking, "every digital camera review says they have a small battery life", but in this case it is extreme IMO. We have a couple other cameras that don't eat batteries like this one. Here's where we made mistakes and I hope you learn from us: we saw that it takes AA batteries and figured we'd use Alkaline batteries to start ->Mistake 1)It uses up Alkaline batteries in a matter of minutes (literally about 7 minutes); Mistake 2)Lithium Ion AA's don't last much longer; you NEED to buy Ni-MH AA batteries. That'd be OK if someone had told us that before hand. Lastly, the rechargable NiMH batteries still don't last as long as other camera-specific Lithion Ions. Summary: Hassles not worth the price. ...
