User's Manual and Multilingual Quick Start Guide
CD-ROM including Multilingual User Manual in PDF format

Intro: I was looking for a low-priced camera with a color LCD, decent megapixels and a reasonable price, and I found one.

Hookups: The computer reads the camera as a USB mass-storage device, not a digital camera. This makes it possible that you don't have to load any drivers if you have Windows XP or ME. You will have to load the camera drivers for previous versions of Windows. You just drag and drop the pictures with practically no waiting, even for videos. You can also hook this camera straight-up to your TV via the camera's "Video Out" and the supplied video cable to view your pictures and videos.

Memory: Camera includes 7 MB integrated memory. Also accepts Secure Digital cards to store pictures and movies on from 8 to 512 MB.

Display: The smoothness of the 1.6" color TFT LCD really surprised me, 27 fps to be exact. I expected it to be choppy, not the case. Very smooth video feed. The only way it can be choppy is if you move the camera very fast. You can view your pictures and videos as thumbnails on the display if you want. The display tells you, when it's on, is: the camera mode, flash and white balance settings, battery level, image quality and resolution, self-timer (if on), memory card (if inserted), and frame counter (how many pictures you have taken and how many you have left).

Interface: You can switch between taking pictures and reviewing taken pictures on-the-fly via a switch on the back. You have to go through the menu to delete pictures and videos though, no delete button.

Settings: "White Balance" and "Exposure Value" can be adjusted to your liking. The brightness of the display can also be changed. Auto-shutoff time can be off, 15, 30, 60, or 90 seconds. You can also change the picture resolution and quality as stated in the next section. Flash can be set to "On", "Off", or "Auto". White Balnce can be set to "Auto", "Sunny", "Flourescent", and "Tungsten".

Picture Capacity: The manual says you can take only 7 pictures at the highest quality, but the camera can handle 9. You can go all the way up to 205 pictures at the lowest quality using the included 7 MB integrated memory.

Picture Quality: Pictures are taken in the JPEG format. Picture quality is determined by the combination of picture resolution and quality. The resolutions available are 1600x1200 (2.0 MP), 1280x960 (1.2 MP), and 640x480. The picture quality can be "Fine", "Normal", or "Economy". At the "Fine" quality and at 1600x1200 (the highest possible quality), you can manage 9 pictures. At the same resolution and "Normal" quality, you can get 21 pictures at almost the same quality. I couldn't tell the difference. I can easily compare the highest picture quality of this camera to a one-time-use camera. Pictures can be better quality if you hold the camera still for about a second when you snap a picture. Action shots are nearly impossible due to the slow shutter speed.

Flash: The flash really surprised me and others. In a completely dark room, I can take great pictures. I showed some pictures to my parents and they were very impressed when I told them the room was completely dark. You just have to make sure you are a few feet away from the subject to get a good picture or it'll be whited out.

Videos: Videos are taken in the AVI format. This camera cannot act as a webcam, you take pictures and movies with it. This model can take 34 second videos at highest quality with the included 7 MB integrated memory. The videos are quite smooth, better than I expected, 15 fps to be exact.

No Macro Mode: There is no macro mode with this camera, making all close-ups a little blurry. The focal range on this camera claims to be 1.2 meters to infinity. So, to get good shots you have to be that far away.

Zoom: Wasn't a big deal to me, but the included 4x digital zoom is a nice touch. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good Camera....A little Confusing
I bought this at Officemax for 119.00 2 days ago. I do like the camera in general, But the software is really confusing. It took me a while to figure out how to save edited images and find where the camera saved them. Also the camera is a little confusing. There is alot of stuff cluttering the LCD screen you have to press a button to make it so it is all gone, but when the camera turns on again it is there. Also the delete function is hard. You have to go into the playback mode, then press menu then select delete, then select delete one, then it brings you to a screen displaying all the pictures, find the picture you want press ok to delete, THen press Yes when it asks are you sure. The processing time on the camera is slow. But for 119.00 it is a great deal.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Lot of Cam for the Price!
I recently purchased the Concord 4363Z, which appears to be the 4 mp version of the 5345Z. I bought it on sale for $140.00 at a major discount store. This is my first digital cam and I am extremely pleased with the features, construction quality, and the end results. The cam uses conviently available 2 AA batteries and will deliver 40-50 exposures per charge. The body is all metal and feels very solid, expecially the door that covers the battery/card slot. In reading other reviews on digital cams, this seems to often be a weak feature. I am also impressed with the rapid response to shutter release, about 1-2 seconds once the flash is charged(bout 3-4 sec). This can be a major problem with many digitals. The cam is easily configured for point and shoot and delivers great pictures under most conditions in this mode. For the more technically attuned, the cam allows for a number of manual adjustments. I have only tested the video with sound feature, but it seems to work just fine.

A couple of negatives. Be very carefull when deleting pic files. It is too easy to delete the entire card. Certain flash shots of people, especially close ups, produce skin tones that are not real accurate. And it does not do a great job handling backlited, high contrast subjects.

In summary, the 4363Z is a superb digital cam for the money, producing accurate, sharp images. I would imagine the 5345Z would be just as good or better, expecially if you need 8x10s. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best in price!
I got this camera at[locAL STORE] (GASP!)for [MONEY], and for the price, it's great! It takes multi-media cards so you can expand the memory, and the pictures are clear. My only criticisms are that the LCD screen is usually too dark for sighting subjects, but it does a good job of showing a thumbnail of the picture taken; and that it takes about 10 seconds from the taking of a picture with the flash until the camera's ready to shoot again. Still, for the price, it cannot be beat as a snapshot camera. It also handles moderate subject movement well. I haven't taken a blurry picture yet. My first digital was a Precor DL-520. Every picture from that thing was blurry! Go with the Concord. It won't break your heart.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome First Digital Camera
Bought it new at [...]for an unbelievable one-time sale price of [$$$}, which is amazing for a 1.3 mpix w/LCD screen that retails for over [$$$]! Took photos of MANY rock concerts and got surprisingly professional results. Off-loaded photos are great for postcard-sized photoprinting and excellent for the [world wide web]Menu-driven options for flash, WB, timer, video mode and editing(really just image deleting). Preview screen does not show thumbnails but does scroll and zoom. As a point-and-shoot camera, there is no optical zooming, but it has a digital zoom mode that works ok. There is a significant delay between shots, which gets progressively longer with older batteries. LCD will flash the image a few seconds after it was taken, which I find to be a good preview tool. Battery drain is always a problem with digital cameras... this camera is no different. Consider changing batteries every day for steady performance. 8MB memory holds about 30 hi-res photos, but a 64MB MMC holds about 100 more! Camera came with an extra metallic blue faceplate that pops-on the front and a tiny case that just holds the camera. Consider a good 3rd party case that provides space for plenty of AA cells. Suppied software utilites for image upload [is poor], editing software provides IMHO only a usable red-eye filter. Better yet, get a MMC reader and just use the supplied editing software for red-eye fixes, and use MS:Office PhotoEditor for color correction and editing. Not without flaws, but IMHO a cost-conscious option for an entry-level performance camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars POLAROID is cool and poor
My friend send me this product. I'm from Poland. :) Greetings for all.

4-0 out of 5 stars Best deal yet! On a Package Deal!
I recently bought the camera in a package deal with a new printer
WOW! I am very happy with the camera's abilities.
I do think the biggest problem is the LCD sometimes doesn't give you the view of the quality of the picture you've taken but it does produce some great pictures overall! My wife and I have taken lots of pictures already and we bought a card to go with it. My wife tends to blur pictures more than I do, so there's something to be said for the person whom takes the picture.

OVERALL A GREAT BARGAIN! ...
That was for my printer and the camera!

1-0 out of 5 stars Just Somebody
You have to work with the camera to get a good picture. If there is any movement by the subject the picture is very poor. It has 2.0 megapixel but you still have to spend more money to get a quality lens and so forth. Megapixels are not the all in all for digital cameras. ... Read more

this camera is awful
low price for a much lower quality
the customer service is terrible
spend better your money!

1-0 out of 5 stars NO CAMERA
I don't know if this is a good camera or not since Concord has never sent me a replacement for the one I received that did not work. They said it took one week to receive replacement. After repeated phone calls, they said they were "repairing" it and would send asap. This was after more than 3 weeks. They would not refund my money and finally agreed to send a new camera if I would pay shipping and handling "again" since I paid when I first ordered, when I shipped it back to be replaced, and now for the 3rd time to hopefully someday get a camera. Customer Service was not helpful at all - acted like they were doing me a favor to send me a new camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good camera
The camera is very well designed. It has 3x optical zoom and 6x digital zoom for a total zoom of 18x, the largest zoom I have seen on a camera in this price range. The 16 MB of internal memory is pretty good but I would recommend getting some sort of memory expansion. The controls take a little getting used to but once you do they're great. This camera is a great value for the price. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars shipment is ok,but the camera is far from what I expected.
I just got the camera. I'd say the price and shipment is satisfactory.
But the worse thing is that on the first page for this item on amazon.com,it said "2 AA batteries required(included)".But actaully,I found it uses CR2 3V Lithium battery. The other bad thing is that the rectangular viewfinder is totally offseted(not centered) in the viewfinder window, which means I can only see the above two angles of the rectangular viewfinder and the circle(I don't know how to call that) which is supposed to be in the middle is in the southeast. This totally upsets me.I am wondering whether this means bad quality or something.I need to check or maybe someone could give me some suggestions.

3-0 out of 5 stars tiny, cheap and better than most!
This is a great starter digital. It's user friendly and unlike many digital cameras with LCDs, this one also has a viewfinder, so you can take pictures in bright sunlight! If a digital camera doesn't have an optical viewfinder, the LCD screen is worthless outside when the sun is bright -- you can't see what you're aiming at.

The only drawback is that the drivers on the CD are old, so if you use Windows XP or Mac OS X, you will need to buy additional memory and a card reader. I bought a 64meg SD card for $29 and a SanDisk card reader for $19.

Don't be fooled by other cameras boasting more megapixels either because I tried one that said it was 3.1 with higher resolutions than this one at 1.3. But this Concord EyeQ Go LCD at 1.3 megapixels took better, clearer images. Megapixels mean nothing if the lens and mechanism are worthless.

Don't be afraid to buy this camera; at under $100, it's a great buy and easy to use and fits in any pocket.
:)

1-0 out of 5 stars Only ONE Good Thing About It!
I bought this camera for a very special occassion. I needed a camera for a very special trip I was taking with my daughter.
First, there isn't an memory card that would fit into it without SHOVING it in! I did get good photos. Too bad the camera DELETED them while I watched, not even TOUCHING anything! I had a good return policy, which is the ONLY good thing about this piece of JUNK!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised and very pleased!
I am not a photographer and don't plan to be one. However, I do enjoy taking pictures of everyday life to cherish the memories. I was hesitant to buy a digital camera at this price because I was afraid the picture quality would be poor. I believe I made the right decision in purchasing this one.

Yes, there are better cameras on the market - there are A LOT worse. It does have its little bugs as the others have stated, but I would still recommend this camera for those that want to take nice pictures at a reasonable price.

5-0 out of 5 stars I am VERY pleased with this camera!
I was nervous about purchasing this camera but have been really pleased with this camera. It takes absolutely TERRIFIC pictures. It is much easier to use than the camera I use at work that cost over $... The software was also very user friendly (again much easier than the camera I use at work). It also uses a CR123 lithium battery instead of AA or AAA in most cameras in this price range. That will save me money. It also has an LCD screen which is the only camera I found in this price range with the LCD. I bought a SD card to go with the camera and can take 125 high resolution photos with it. I HIGHLY recommend this camera!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great overall digital camera
I purchaced this because I was looking for a great entry level digital camera with lots of features for an affordable price. This is what the camera does & has:
>Takes still photos up to 1.3 megapixels
>Records .avi movie clips (no sound)
>MMC/SD card expandable so it sstores virtually unlimited photographs
>USB connectable (cord included in package)
>TV out
>LCD screen for reviewing photo's & movies
>Doubles as a webcam
>Really small
>Runs off of CR123 batteries

THis is what's bad about the camera:
>Eats batteries like no tomorrow
>For webcam to work, room needs to be well lit
>Flash is insanely bright (excellent unless the picture is taken up close; otherwise, it's great. It could stun a potential mugger if need be).
>D-Pad seems flimsy and clicky

All in all, it's worth picking up. With the exception of the batteries, all the bad things about the camera aren't that big of a deal. Recommended highly. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good but no cake.
The camera is descent for being so small and such. but it really lacks when it comes to quality. Only get this camera if you want to snap small shots that don't need the detail and unlike some other reviews that say it doesn't it really does work with xp. I have used it on 4 diffrent computers that have XP.

This camera is NOT compatible with Windows XP. Called Concord tech support and they do not plan to have drivers available. It is being returned.

1-0 out of 5 stars it's not a good camera, in my eyes.
i got my eye Q go camera as a gift and 2days later had to take it back because it got to hot and i didn't know what was wrong with it and the store i got it from gave me a nother one, so i have been trying to take pictures inside and they just don't come out. if you by one of these cameras it is for out side use only, it's also not a camera to use if you want to print the pictures out. they come out not good... if i had to bye a camera it wouldn't be this one, beleive me.... ... 3-0 out of 5 stars A little frustrating, but good pictures
Installing this camera onto Windows XP has been somewhat of a nightmare, I was never able to use the "driver" from the Concord website so I installed it with the original driver and for some reason now it works. My computer doesn't recognize the camera so I can't upload the pictures into any of my programs, I have to copy them and paste them into "My Pictures". But the minute I plug the camera into the computer, the pictures are instantly there. The picture quality is great, and the batteries are still fine (after 1 day.) However, I ran out of memory after 6 pictures. I guess I'll have to buy a CompactFlash card now.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT CAMERA!
I'M NOT NEW TO DIGITAL CAMERAS. I OWN A VIVITAR VIVICAM 3100 AND AN OLYMPUS D-370. PICTURE QUALITY ON SCREEN & PRINTING ON ALL 3 (INCLUDING THE CONCORD EYE Q 1300) ABOUT THE SAME IN HIGH RES. THE CONCORD COST ME...LESS THEN EACH OF THE OTHER TWO CAMERAS, AND INCLUDES BETTER SOFTWARE AND FEATURES! I'M IMPRESSED WITH THE CONCORD VIDEO (TV) OUTPUT FOR STILL PICTURES & MOVIE CLIPS THE OTHER TWO CAMERAS DON'T OFFER THESE HANDY FEATURES. JUST PLUG THE CAMERA IN TO ANY TV AND START VIEWING!

PROS: 1.3 MEGAPIXEL,
LOW PRICE,
VIDEO OUTPUT,
MOV. CLIPS,
WEB CAM
2 AA BATTERIES,
VIEW ON TV,
EASY TO USE,
NO OTHER CAMERA OFFERS AS MANY FEATURES AT 1.3 MEGAPIXEL AT SUCH A LOW PRICE

CONS: NO LCD PICTURE VIEWING,
NO RED EYE REDUCTION,

1-0 out of 5 stars Not at all impressive
The instructions were not printed right the first time, so there was an add in for the correct way to install the software, which ended up not being compatible with windows XP. I haven't been able to use my camera yet. The directions are difficult. This is not a user friendly camera.

1-0 out of 5 stars What a downer
... I took a few test shots at high resolution, installed the software and hooked it up to a Win XP Home edition machine. Nice clear shots without fiddling with any of the options. How can you beat such high resolution, a flash and upgradeable memory for so little money?
Edited: All subsequent shots were lousy. I don't know what happened but luckily I was able to return the critter.

1-0 out of 5 stars Instruction Manual is Really a Piece of Garbage
Be prepared to have to fuss all by yourself to figure out this camera, because your thoughtful camera maker couldn't be bothered to invest in such amenities as an English-speaking team to put together an instruction manual. It is really so poorly put together that you will wonder if it is somebody's idea of a joke...until you waste a roll of film learning how to rewind.

Instructions for unloading the film:

"Process the following step: when rewinding, the rewind indicator on top panel will blinking. The rewind indicator will stop blinking when rewind finish." Great! Got that? Now enjoy this camera.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not a good camera for a child
I bought this camera for my 7 year old and was really disapppoined with it. It was really light plastic and seemed like it could get broken quickly. The piece that holds the batteries in the bottom comes completely off and was rather hard to replace after loading them, also it could be easily lost. You also need to manually advance the film after each picture and the winder is not at the top of the camera so that is also hard to do. I would not recommend this camera for kids. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars good camara
Its a great camara for someone who wants something easy to use and dosn't need perfect high quality photos.

3-0 out of 5 stars You Get What You Pay For
This is the cheapest 35mm camera with a zoom lens and a flash that I could find, so I pretty much got what I expected: it feels cheap, and it takes just okay pictures. But you don't need to worry about breaking or losing it, and you save money versus disposable cameras as long as it lasts for at least four rolls -- plus you get a (tiny) zoom lens to boot. ...
