Great product. Speical note for Mac users.
I use this PC card all the time on my Mac PowerBook in the slot on the side of the machine. It works like a dream on OS 9, but the current release of OS X does not support it. (As I'm writing this, that release is only 10.04. I'm hoping that changes with the next release.) Your Smart Media Card shows up just like a PC disc inserted in to any drive. You need to have your PC file sharing extensions on. They are ON by default. I use it for my digital camera, but it would be also be really handy if you use Smart Media cards for an MP3 player.

A must for laptop users
I do not have this particular brand, but i have the same product. If you have a laptop (i run windows 2k) running win98 and above it is a must-have. Transfer rates are really fast, and for me there was no software installation required. It was recognized as a removable drive. In addition, transferring files in this method does not require battery power.

Way faster than direct transfer from the camera
This SmartMedia PC Card adaptor is great. It means not having to have special software installed on the computer to access the photos, which is good when I've being taking pictures while travelling, say, and wish to show some on someone else's computer. Pretty case but no carrying strap
I bought the case to hold my new Olympus C-2100. The camera fits very nicely into the case. In fact, it looks like this case was made specifically for these long-nosed camera models. The case has lots of room for extra batteries and media cards but not enough room to pack along your battery charger and power cord.

My only drawback is that the case does not include a shoulder strap nor does it include any place to attach a shoulder strap. A D-ring on each side would make the case so much more useful. As it is, you have to carry the case by hand, use the camera strap as a shoulder strap, or attach the case to your belt with the included belt loop.

Does NOT fit E-100 RS cameras.
For those of you considering getting this case to use with the E-100 RS (A Olympus Camedia), this case will not fit. The E-100 RS has a rubber eye-piece hood/guard which prevents you from being able to close the case. In every other respect, this WOULD have been a great fitting case. Just be aware - there are packages that Olympus sells which include this case with the E-100 RS.

Smells good and feels nice.
I like it. My Olympus 2100 with the long 10x snout fits nicely. There is room for 4 AA batteries in the side compartment, and in the upper zippered compartment a few extra media cards fit easily. The padding seems adequate and the belt loop makes carrying simple.

Great Accessory For Olympus Digital SLR's
I've got one each for my C2500L and D600L. The back pocket (zipper) holds 4 smartmedia cards in plastic cases plus remote (for C2500L). The side pocket (velcro) easily holds 4 AA batteries, and as many as 8 snugly. Nice soft leather, looks and feels good and sturdy. The only negative is the fact when you take the camera out of the case, either it has to be held separately, or hangs from the camera strap (there's a snap on one side to secure case to camera strap)...I prefer the former, just holding in left hand while working camera with right, or putting it under left arm. ... ...this macro lens delivers
I was a bit apprehensive about using a screw-on attachment, and was concerned that edge sharpness, light falloff, or general inconvenience would be problems. The lens performs very well in all of these areas of concern. This is a fine optical addition to the E-10's fixed zoom, one that Olympus has put considerable thought into. It operates throughout the wide-tele range. It does require setting the macro mode in the control panel, but this only takes a few seconds, and then you can move in on subjects, such as a bee on a flower, dew on a spider's web, or the details on a coin. It would be nice if this sort of accessory was a little less expensive, but it is well worth the price, as it comes in a well made case, with a cover that serves as a lens cap when the lens is mounted on the camera.

Macro-mania
This is a huge lens, and that seems right, because it makes everything huge!

This really is a nice lens. The pictures it takes are sharp and really close up.
